Deputy Chair: Prashanta Mukherjee

Prashanta Mukherjee, born and brought up in Delhi, a Kiwi since 1989, is a founder shareholder and Director of India Horizonz Limited. He has over 30 years of experience in both private and public sectors globally.

He has gained invaluable insight and experience into the post-90's reformed India through his own forays into exporting NZ produce into India, since 2002.

He has served as a Director of a public-private joint venture and is a science graduate (with Honours) from University of Delhi (Gold Medal). He is an alumnus of the Ernst & Young Darden Executive Programme. He has also completed the New Zealand Marketing Management Programme and the Introduction to Company Directorship (Institute of Directors, NZ) programme. He is also an IT Certified Professional (ITCP)

He has held senior management positions in Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Business Unit Management at Oracle, Ermst & Young and IBM.

He is a founding trustee of The Big Idea Trust - www.thebigidea.co.nz

He has extensive networks in India through his varsity alumni and client connections. He has lived in New Zealand since 1989 and has deep knowledge of New Zealand economy and businesses as well as established business networks in major sectors of the New Zealand economy.
