Last month was both hectic and exciting, as a delegation of senior business leaders had visited India. The delegation was led by the Deputy PM, Hon. Winston Peters and Trade Minister, Hon. David Parker. The newsletter touches upon most of the important activities fo this trade visit.
We ended the year with an interaction with H.E. Muktesh Pardeshi, the Indian High Commissioner for his perspectives on India - New Zealand business relations, challenges and opportunities. We recently concluded our 6th Annual Summit, last month. The Summit was very successful with good participation and some great discussions. You can read more articles covered by the media here along with images from the event.
The past month has been a very busy one, with incoming delegations from India. One was from the Pharma industry export council, which did a round table with the industry stakeholders and B2B meetings with our members. We also hosted a study tour of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board.
Last month, we bid farewell to the Indian High Commissioner, Sh. Sanjiv Kohli, at an event in Wellington. We had the honour of having very senior leaders, H.E. Sir Anand Satyanand, Graham Morton and Andrew Needs from MFAT, with us. Please see all details below.
This month has seen some hectic activity with two events already accomplished.
We had covered a very important topic, in emerging technologies - Blockchain. The executive director of Blockchain NZ, gave our members a brief overview of the new technology and it's application for business.
We recently concluded our end-of-year event, where the focus was on Sports Diplomacy, Leadership and Business. The keynote speaker was Minister Hon. Peeni Henare, who spoke at length on the importance of sports in the youth of today.
