The recent visit of the Indian IT company delegation of Gtech, to Auckland has born fruits for a local Consultancy firm. Wellington based entrepreneur, Jay Changlani has signed an MOU for his company, Accounts Icon Consulting Ltd., with Mr. Binu Jacob of Experion, India.
Jay will be working alongside the ANZ head of Experion, to grow the business in this part of the world and would be account managing the new clients too.
They are currently working on a strategy road map, a 90 days plan. Both companies recently met at the Gtech delegation visit and have developed a strong pipeline to target.
India New Zealand Business Council (INZBC) and Auckland Tourism Events and Economic Development (ATEED) hosted a group of 14 technology companies from India to discuss potential technology-based business and trade opportunities on 9th October 2015 at NZTE office in Auckland.
This was the second delegation to NZ. Last year too, they were hosted by INZBC in Auckland and by Jay Changlani in Wellington. Binu Jacob, CEO and MD of Experion Technologies India Pvt Ltd was leading the delegation.
Jay Changlani, Director of Accounts Icon Consulting Limited have been in touch since last year with various IT companies and explored opportunities. Binu and Jay had a good alignment of culture and values. They had around 15 to 20 mins meetings online with various partners to explore opportunities.
The outcome of those meetings and business opportunities were such that they decided to formalise the relationship by signing a MOU to explore this business opportunities further.
Binu Jacob represents an emerging technology oriented software Solutions and services company, Experion. They are into Product Engineering Services, IT Services and has its own IP offerings. Head Quartered in Technopark, Trivandrum, India, with development canters in Cochin & Bangalore, the sales offices of Experion are in US, Australia, Switzerland, Germany & Netherlands.
Binu is very positive about the opportunities that lie, in front of them. He commented, very positively to the outcome at the event.
Their flagship product FIELDMAX is a key initiative for improving field force productivity and its latest product is an open source based, cloud hosted application for port operations management called xPort. Apart from its mobile based data capture front end, the back end analytics capability of FieldMax makes it very powerful. ISO 9001-2008 certified company, Experion had also been listed as a finalist for the Red Herring Asia 2013.
Jay Changlani has a strong network in IT sector in Wellington. His personal interest in start-ups in Wellington. He also specialises in Corporate structures, due diligence, Virtual CFO, Accounting and International Tax (including NZ/India market). Significant breakthrough for Accounts Icon Consulting Limited because it gives opportunity to scale NZ IP in markets such as India, middle east, Australia, Switzerland, Germany & Netherlands.
Jay Changlani says that this partnership will go a long way in showing the path to other companies from India for mergers and partnerships. He said, “There is a huge requirement of a good IT company with strong values and work ethics in NZ. Binu delivers that”.
Jay credited INZBC for the successful networking meetings due to which he could develop new relations within the industry in India. “INZBC and its members were pinnacle in making things happen for G Tech Delegation in NZ last year and this year”.
