ASSOCHAM has been aligned with the government initiatives to promote MSMEs and policies for the segment. Thus initiated a series of engagements to promote MSMEs’ competitiveness and are pleased to announce Uttar Pradesh MSME Sammelan - 2022 under the broad theme ‘Transforming MSMEs’ competitiveness’ on 27th-28th June 2022, Lucknow.
Uttar Pradesh has a stupendous 90 lakh MSME base which is the highest in the country, and the state contributes around 14 per cent of India’s total MSME count of 6.33 crore. MSME industries constitute an essential segment of the UP economy in terms of employment generation and as a source of foreign exchange earnings through exports. The MSME sector accounts for almost 60 per cent of the total industrial output in Uttar Pradesh.
